My name is Ryan Jones and I am a Marketing & Commercial Senior Executive working for Davies Partnership. I am also the Marketing Lead for the Future Impact Board. As you can tell I have a passion for marketing and graduated from university in 2017 with a combined honours degree in Business Management and Marketing.
Davies Partnership are an award-winning client-focussed M&E Consultancy that helps create a better built environment through sustainable design solutions and technical expertise.
We have offices in Liverpool, Chester and Conwy and have very recently moved into Manchester too. Our engineers work on projects all over the UK covering a variety of sectors ranging from residential to education, and extra care to restaurants and bars.
My role sees me responsible for improving and raising the profile of the Davies Partnership brand through things such as social media and the website, but also helping the commercial team with the likes of project enquiries and framework submissions.
The Future Impact Board is a collective of professionals under the age of 30 working in property and construction who are committed to providing positive change for the future of the Liverpool City Region.
Similar to my role at Davies Partnership, as Marketing Lead for the FIB I am responsible for the marketing activity and digital presence of the board.
At the moment I am based at home in Maghull. As part of the Davies Partnership Work-Life Balance Charter, I enjoy the pleasure of an agile working model where my weeks are a combination of home and office working. Our Liverpool office is based on Brunswick Dock so I am in central Liverpool a lot of the time. I’ve been living in the Liverpool City Region my entire life. I grew up a few streets away from Goodison Park before moving to Maghull in Primary School. I started working in central Liverpool when I was 17 and have been working ever since.
The LCR inspires me in the way that it is a true destination to live, work and play. The City Region has a rich history with so many wonderful areas to explore and enjoy. It also inspires me as being one of the top regions leading the way in regeneration, sustainability and innovation
The LCR has helped me by providing valuable opportunities that I don’t think I would have gotten anywhere else. It has opened doors for me and enabled me to make great connections that help me on both a personal and professional level.
After leaving university I found myself beginning to be stuck in retail which was definitely not what I wanted to do. I joined Agent Marketing’s Agent Academy CIC which proved invaluable to me gaining my current job and finding myself where I am today.
